I AM BETTER THAN THIS.

Im sorry if you followed me thinking I’d be a fitness junkie. I am. It’s just that it comes in waves though and frankly I am tired of it! Im tired of finding ground and then getting sucked back into the abyss. It’s time to let go and kill my “excuses.” It’s time to get up and fight these waves. ITS TIME TO PUT MYSELF FIRST. RUN. SWIM. FIGHT. FOR ME.

Weak point training - Pectoralis Major, aka “Pecs”.

It’s the main chest muscle and it’s a body part that I’ve always struggled with.. I see a lot of people at the gym thinking they’re training chest when they’re actually training their shoulders..

Now bare in mind that what works for me might not work for you! However, I would definitely advice you to focus more on form rather than weight and try to do a lot of single arm exercises; like cables and dumbbells instead of bench press.. Now I’m not saying don’t do bench press, but for me it doesn’t work very well.. Good for strength, bad for gains!

I’ll try to post a video or a couple of photos from my next chest workout…

Now I’m not saying I have great pecs, or even good ones. But I have made gains, and it started happening when I focused more on form, squeezing instead of “pushing” and always make sure to keep your shoulder blades together so your front delts don’t take over!

If you’re a long time follower I think you’ll remember that I started with pretty much no pecs, even though I was doing a lot of heavy bench pressing. I was pretty strong, but for me it didn’t build any muscle whatsoever..

Anyways, just my thoughts on the subject.. And seeing as you follow me, I guess you’re interested in hearing what I think ;)

Have a great night everyone, and happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian followers!

I made a thing with the photo I took yesterday. This is a years difference. 17st-14st
Bearing in mind I had already lost 6stone before the first photo!
I’d love to find a photo of me at my heaviest & compare to now, so on days I feel like I’ve done nothing, I can see this.

wow! that is an awesome progress shot girl! :)
